Freegrow attracts additional
investments from IPS ventures

Freegrow, which operates the indoor navigation app “GrowMaps” service, said it has succeeded in attracting additional investment.

After receiving its first seed investment from the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Freegrow was selected by The Investment Lab + Woomi Construction and Kukbo Design PropTech Joint Venture No. 1 and IGIS Tomorrow Zone, an IGIS Investment Partners start-up accelerating program. In this investment, it was selected as IPS Ventures Startup Value Industry No. 8 and secured additional investment.

Based on this investment attraction, freegrow plans to expand its services around large complex facilities across the country, including COEX, which is currently serving through pre-A (Pre-A) investment success and step-by-step growth strategies this year, to provide convenient and useful services to users.

“We were able to attract additional investment in recognition of freegrow’s technology and business feasibility even in difficult economic conditions,” said Kim Young-sik, CEO of Freegrow. “We will actively recruit talented people such as new developers to strengthen service competitiveness and commercialization capabilities.”
